Not a bad day's work for three old guys. Rich Stracensky and Bob Gerkens boated this monster on Saturday Dec 9, '06 out of Morehead (Beaufort Inlet). The fish weighed in at 421 lbs and was 87" long. They were only 16 miles out of the inlet in 65' of water. Took about 45 minutes to get it to the boat and then swam it for half hour before bleeding and boating. The third guy on the boat and in the pictures is Capt Bob Earl (with beard) who has developed a swiming hook (like flying gaff with a clip on the end) which is in some of the pictures. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
